The famous phrase that so many Super Bowl winners and Olympic champions have uttered, "I'm going to Disneyland", can make people with severe arthritis cringe. The idea of taking on a major theme park is overwhelming. They wish they could, but feel that they can't do it.

Fact is, large attractions, like Disneyland or Walt Disney World, want to appeal to all people -- including those with physical limitations. According to the Disneyland website, "The Disneyland Resort is committed to making visits for Guests with mobility disabilities as carefree and convenient as possible." On their website, as well as on the Walt Disney World website, they provide details about attraction access, wheelchairs, and electric convenience vehicles. For every attraction at the park, they explain what level of mobility is required and explain about permitted use of mobility equipment. Plan your trip without the fear of unwanted surprises.
