Step 7 of 8 - Treatment of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome - Use Of Medications

Oral medications may be used to relieve the symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome such as:

  • nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications
  • oral corticosteroids
  • diuretics
  • Local injections of corticosteroids into the carpal tunnel area may be tried to help nonspecific or inflammatory tenosynovitis.
