You should consider choosing an NSAID, such as salsalate, which may have a lower risk of gastrointestinal bleeding compared to other NSAIDS. Also -- diclofenac, etodolac, meloxicam and Celebrex are NSAIDS that may have lower risk of ulcers.

There is specific study data that suggests Celebrex may decrease the risk of bleeding from the large intestine. Talk to your doctor to see if Celebrex would be a good option for you. Don't forget though, Celebrex has been tied, on some level, to heart risks. It's a balance -- weighing risks and benefits.
