A supportive, comfortable mattress is an essential item for someone living with arthritis. There are many mattresses to choice from though -- coil, air, memory foam, latex -- and it can get confusing. Mattresses come in various designs (for example, pillowtop or not) and degrees of firmness (ranging from gently firm to extra firm).

So which one is the best? That's for you to decide. It's a matter of personal preference. You need a mattress that is supportive enough to keep your body properly aligned while sleeping and comfortable enough to be relaxing. Check out your options and then go try them out in person.
