Lady Gaga fans have been worried about her health. Show cancellations earlier this year, collapses, and a near collapse on stage in March precipitated the concern. In an interview with Times Online UK, Lady Gaga admitted to having heart palpitations, trouble breathing on occasion, and fatigue. She closed the door on rumors of an eating disorder or drug use (for the most part), but left the door open on possibly having lupus.
Lady Gaga admitted to being tested for lupus and to having an aunt who died of the disease. She isn't disclosing the test results though because she doesn't want anyone to be worried. So, if you are a fan and if she does have lupus, should you be worried? Learn more in 10 Things You Should Know About Lupus.
UPDATE 6/3/10: Lady Gaga appeared on Larry King Live and said during her interview, "I have tested borderline positive for the disease. So as of right now, I do not have it." Experts have suggested that her reference to being borderline positive may actually be a reference to the ANA test. Learn more about the ANA test.
