Michael Jackson's official autopsy report has not been released to the public but the chairman of the anesthesiology department at the University of California, Irvine was able to review and interpret the report for the Associated Press. According to the New York Times, aside from what has previously been reported -- that propofol in combination with three other sedatives caused Jackson's death -- there was evidence that he had knee surgery and injections to reduce joint inflammation. There also was evidence of arthritis of the spine and fingers, and chronic inflammation of the lungs.
Some reports, such as the one on TMZ.com, specify osteoarthritis as the type of arthritis Jackson had. It had been widely reported in the past that Jackson had lupus.

I believe the truth is that he had lupus, but never wanted to acknowledge it.
does it really matter and besides MJ’s family have had enough to cope with in regards to his death…If indeed he had osteoarthritis, how is that going to help the rest of us who suffer from it
Whatever he had, its a shame that we still have a medical system that aren’t so sure in curing diseases and instead of focusing on this crucial issue, we were bent on scrutinizing & destroying his personal life. Now he’s gone and free from this problem world, including the diseases. We should please leave him alone and focus on our plight on planet earth.
Michael Jackson did have arthritis as well as Lupus. He was my cousin. There are several autoimmune disease in the family tree.
Well i do think it’s of interst to me that Michael had arthritis because i suffer greatly from this condition myself. I try to the maximum to live a normal life but it’s not easy sometimes morally. To know that Michael was so courageous despite this condition in not broadcasting it or complaing and just continuing to enhance us with his dance moves right up to the end helps me to realize that i can cope because he did. So thanks Michael for your example of courage.
Diana: Stop lying, we all know you aren’t his cousin.
