Rheumatoid Arthritis Clinical Trials Investigating Rituxan: Are You Eligible?
The SERENE trial is enrolling a total of 500 men and women to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of Rituxan in patients who currently have an inadequate response to methotrexate.
The IMAGE trial will enroll approximately 850 men and women with active rheumatoid arthritis. This trial will evaluate the safety and effectiveness of Rituxan in preventing the progression of structural joint damage. Patients in this trial cannot have been treated with methotrexate.
The SUNRISE trial is looking for 550 men and women to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of re-treatment with Rituxan in patients receiving methotrexate who had an inadequate response to the TNF (tumor necrosis factor) antagonists (Enbrel, Remicade, or Humira).
