Kathleen Turner: Rheumatoid Arthritis Affected Acting Career
Monday November 14, 2005
Actress Kathleen Turner has found it difficult to get acting roles since she was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. According to a report in the New York Daily News, Turner feared the impact of arthritis on her career and decided it would be easier to allow people to think she was an alcoholic than make them understand the truth. Turner intends to move to Italy next year and work more extensively in Europe, where she feels the emphasis is on the work and not merely image.
