Prograf (tacrolimus) drug information, dosage, side effects, drug interactions, and warnings. Prograf, generic drug name tacrolimus, is an immunosuppressive drug used to reduce rejection of organ or bone marrow transplants. Tacrolimus is also approved for treating skin conditions such as eczema (atopic dermatitis) and psoriasis.

Prograf is also being studied and developed for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. According to Mayo Clinic, "researchers hope tacrolimus can help people with rheumatoid arthritis by stopping T cells from causing inflammation".
