Fentanyl Patch: FDA Issues Public Health Advisory

In response to reports of deaths in patients using the fentanyl patch for pain management, the FDA has issued a Public Health Advisory. The FDA is investigating whether the deaths are associated with inappropriate use by patients or quality of the product.
