Humira Improves Quality of Life for Psoriatic Arthritis Patients

Data from patients in ADEPT (Adalimumab Effectiveness in Psoriatic Arthritis Trial) receiving Humira showed that quality of life improved considerably during a 24-week period, using multiple assessment tools. Read the press release. In a standard eight-category questionnaire, patients treated with Humira at week 24 showed clinically significant improvement versus placebo in seven of eight categories:

  • physical functioning
  • social functioning
  • physical role limitations
  • bodily pain
  • general medical health
  • mental health
  • vitality
