If You Receive Disability Benefits You Can Work - True or False?

It's a common misconception. Many people on Social Security Disability believe they can never work again. Actually, there are provisions under the Ticket To Work legislation that allow disabled people to work without losing medical benefits. You may even be able to keep your disability income if your earnings are within limits. Francie Anderson, senior benefits specialist for the Center for Excellence in Disabilities, covering 11 counties in southern West Virginia, emphasizes there's a lot more you need to know if you're interested in working again.
