Arteries Clog Earlier In People With Lupus

Intelihealth reports that people with the autoimmune disease lupus may develop carotid atherosclerosis (the buildup of fatty deposits in the arteries) at an accelerated rate and independently of many risk factors normally associated with cardiovascular disease.
