Raptiva: FDA Advisory Committee Recommends Approval

An advisory committee to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration unanimously recommended approval of the drug Raptiva, generic name efalizumab, to treat moderate to severe plaque psoriasis. FDA approval is expected by the end of October 2003.
